Supports performance, digestibility, mucosal development and immunomodulatory functions. Live yeast cultures such as S. cerevisiae and S. boulardii help keep the gut microflora balanced and support the gut lining. S. cerevisiae also produces invertase, which hydrolyses sucrose into glucose and fructose, making more glucose available to the bird and to other microorganisms in the surrounding environment.
